I am a social media manager…. which basically means, I live, breath, eat, and drink social media. I am the girl that walks in to poles, people, cars, etc. while walking down the street because looking up means I have to stop checking my Twitter, Four Square or Facebook account. Everyone has a passion and mine is social media.
Until recently I was the social media specialist for Boost Mobile. While there I helped the company build an online presence to interact with customers and maintain the company’s online reputation. It was a great job, but when they went through a reorganization I thought it was time to peace out.
I took a few weeks off, traveled and came back to start a new job at Sanuk. I am now the social media manager where I do everything (or at least it feels that). My job incorporates SEO, SEM, Social Media strategy, Public Relations, etc. When I am not in the office, I train for triathlons, try to learn Hebrew and occasionally contemplate the Universe.
This blog is a place for me to answer all the burning questions you might have about how to interact on a variety of social media platforms, how to utilize said platforms to grow your personal brand (or your company’s) and you can count on the occasional personal rant.
